Sewatek wall penetrations allow flexible construction of different feed-through assemblies, depending on the line pipes. However, you generally need to have made the penetration decisions before you place an order with us, as we need specific and precise information about the pipes and the structures to fulfil your order.

Design and quantity surveying

Detail images and marking instructions can be found on our Downloadable files page. When specifying the required service penetrations, we need to know how thick the structure is, what sort of pipes are to be fed through (material and size) and what the centre-to-centre distances of the pipes in the pipe group are. When this information is already presented in the penetration and element drawings, quantity surveying is best done based on these documents. Heating and water pipe drawings are usually not as useful because evaluating the centre-to-centre distances and the placement of the heating and water pipes in relation to each other is more difficult from these documents.

Technical information

  • Length of the service penetration (thickness of the structure): 100-1000 mm
  • Pipe that is to be fed through: 8-90 mm
  • Possible centre-to-centre distances of the pipes: 70, 100, 120 or 160 mm (possibly limited by pipe size)
  • Can be installed either at the element factory or at the construction site
  • Fire classes depending on the line pipe: EI 30 - EI 120
  • No second-stage work required except for placing the firestop sticker in place and sealing the root of the line pipe with common acrylic caulk.

More information about the products and instructions on their use can be found on our Downloadable files page.
