The service penetration for on-site casting situations is installed on top of the casting mould. Beneath the penetration unit there is approximately 40 mm of space where concrete reinforcements and other structural parts can fit. The rotational stiffness of the penetration unit has also been paid special attention. The rear wing of the penetration can be bent open in the installation stage to ensure that the penetration does not lean away from the wall.
We recommend using aluminium nails to fasten the service penetration in place. We have these aluminium nails in our product selection and they come with three benefits: they will not leave rust marks in the cast, they can be cut easily and they will not tear the plywood of the mould like screws do.
These service penetrations are intended for pairs of heat pipes. They are delivered as installation-ready units (Sewatek feed-through pipes come with the cup plugs at the ends of the pipes). The on-site casting frame supports line pipes up to the diameter of approximately 42 mm (DN32). Sewatek feed-through pipes larger than that are delivered without the support frame.
